Leap Frog...
Before Corgan was born, Travis, Mom and I went to Baby's R Us to buy all the baby essentials that we just HAD to have before the new arrival. Mom and I had picked out this play gym that had all these excited lights flashing and bells dinging and annoying sounds to stimulate the brain of a newborn. Or cause seizures. Whatever. Anyway, Travis saw this "educational" learning gym that taught things like counting in japanese or german, saying hello in french, and stuff like that, but didn't have a lot of "cool" features. Mom and I both thought, "BORING." But, Travis insisted and since Travis rarely insists on anything, I thought I'd throw him a bone and then laugh at him when the thing collected dust. Alas, I was mistaken. Not "wrong" mind you, just mistaken.
This toy has entertained for the two and a half years that we've had it! Corgan LOOOOVED it when he was a baby and actually kept him entertained during a twelve hour drive from Georgia to Texas. And I learned how to count to five in German, Japanese, French and Spanish. Added bonus! Now it is Caiden's most cherished toy. He will sit in his Bumbo and push the buttons and laugh and squeal while listening to the music. By far the best forty bucks we've EVER spent on these children!

Happy Father's Day!!!!
I have been so blessed to have a husband that is an amazing father. He loves both boys with all of his heart! Travis will have had a looooooong day at work and school, and will still play with Corgan, give him a bath and snuggle with Caiden. No matter what, he makes time for his boys. At church today, the speaker was talking about fathers (of course) and said, "To children, love is spelled T-I-M-E." That really stuck with me. Corgan and Caiden won't remember monetary things that Travis provided for them, they'll remember the time he spent playing XBox with them, taking them to Chuck E. Cheese, and flying the kite in the backyard...
