Kodak Moments....

Why is it that you never have your camera when the perfect Kodak moment presents itself?! Yesterday we went to the park with some friends and Corgan and his buddy Zach were so cute. They were sitting up on the playground just talking to eachother and then went for a walk together in the soccer field. Zach would go up and hug Corgan and then Corgan would plant a wet one on him. Liz (Zach's mom) said that Zach didn't want to have anything to do with the other kids but when Corgan got there they were attached at the hip. It was so funny, Corgan was running around and fell down and Zach busted out laughing and then fell down too because he wanted to be like Corgan. Sooooo dang cute.

Corgan got some new snazzy slippers that he just adores and wants to wear them everywhere. He walks around and just stares down at his feet and cracks up! It's the cutest thing!

Sooooo tired.....

I know I've been really lazy about keeping my blog up to date, but I've been busy (as usual....). I've really worn myself out! I made a decision to quit the classes I was teaching on Thursdays since I had to drive a total of two and a half hours since I taught twice a day, once at 9:30 and then at 6:45. Poor Corgan and I were just in the car forever. With gas prices the way they were, it was NOT worth it. So I taught my last class there on Thursday. The manager tried to make me feel guilty for bailing, but you know what? I need to take care of my baby, myself and my son. Sheesh. Some people. Now I have Thursdays and Fridays off!!!! Woo hoo!!!!

Corgan is doing fantastic! He's talking like crazy and getting so much better about going to nursery and I've been taking him to this drop off day care on occasion and he does so well. On Friday I had one of the girls in the ward watch him at her house so I could get stuff done (YOU WOULDN'T BELIEVE WHAT I GOT DONE IN THREE HOURS!!!!) and when I went to pick him up, he didn't want to leave! He gave her two big hugs goodbye. I love my son so much, but it is GREAT to get a break once in a while. It's good for my sanity level. I don't know if it's just the pregnancy, but lately I have felt completely overwhelmed and distraught, so getting a break, even an hour, makes all the difference in the world.

My sister is one of the most clever people I know and for Halloween she dressed her little girl up as a cheerleader. To complete the ensemble, she matched yarn to Emily's haircolor and made pigtails! The results are priceless. Travis thought she looked quite a bit like a cheerleader cabbage patch doll. What do you think?

Drumroll please..........

Ok. So I took some candy to my class on Friday because I keep telling my classes that I'm going to bring them a treat when I find out what I'm having. I thought I'd be able to get a pink treat or a blue treat. Maybe around Easter that would be possible, but not halloween! Soooo, for all you who are DYING to know whether I am having a boy or a girl, I brought Almond Joys to class. Because Almond Joys have nuts, Mounds don't. Get it? IT'S A BOY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

"One, Two, Three!!!!"

Nana stayed with us last week and taught Corgan how to say, "One, two, three!" I about fell over. He even held his fingers up and everything. It was the CUTEST thing!!!!! He absolutely loves his Nana and was so sad when she left. He got up the next morning and searched the house for her. It was so sweet.

"One....."

"Two...."

"Three!" (he's signing "more" right here.....)

"I love Nana!!!!"

Pumpkin Patch Fun!!!!

We had a LOT of fun on Friday going to the Pumpkin Patch in Flower Mound. We met the Michaels and the Hayes Family there. Corgan loves pumpkins and had a lot of fun going on a hayride with his cousins. Here are some pics from our grand adventure!!!!

Timber!!!!!!!!!! Nick enjoyed pulling his brother and cousin around on one of the many wagons there.
Handsome Uncle Michael and Corgan
What the heck is Mommy doing? Is there a POINT to this?
Now kids, if you don't listen to your parents, this could be your future home....

Sick house!

Everyone in the house is sick! Corgan has a sinus infection and Travis and I both have the cold he started with. Lucky for Travis he can actually TAKE something. However, I am stuck with sudafed and tylenol. Sigh.... I had to teach a class today since I couldn't find anyone to sub for me. It kind of ticked me of that out of fifty plus instructors not a ONE would sub for me. Butt nuggets.

We went to the Wiggles place and I thought I'd better check the car out, make sure it was safe before driving.

Always look both ways before pulling out....

People say I drive like Nana, but at least I'm cautious!

Mommy didn't want her icecream. Crazy lady. It was dang good!

Wiggles!

Oh man. We had so much fun on Monday at the new Wiggles Playcenter in Frisco! It opened up about a week ago and we went there for playgroup. It was great! Corgan had so much fun driving around in the big red car and climbing up the play areas. I took a bunch of pictures but I can't seem to download them onto my computer to put them on the blog, so I'll post them when Travis can look at it. Anyway, we had a ball! I think that's where we're going to have Corgan's birthday party, so everyone mark your calendars for December 29th!

Travis is in New York on business, so last minute I begged Mom to come down and stay with me while he's gone. She kept asking me what I wanted for my birthday and I figured this was the best present I could get. A break! I've been getting a lot of stuff done around the house - pictures hung, that sort of thing. Corgan loves Nana, so it's been really nice. He's actually been acting pretty cranky and has been running a fever, so it's a good thing she was here to watch him so I didn't have to cancel my classes. Whew!

Corgan had speech therapy today with Abbey (who he absolutely adores) and he did fantastic. He is really imitating well and she about fell over when he said, "Mommy!" He'd been saying "Nana" for mama and she was so excited to hear him say his M's. He's really growing by leaps and bounds and is communicating very well.

This weekend we are going to go to Nick and Carter's soccer games! I can't wait to see them play. Nick's been playing for a few years and this is Carter's very first year. Should be a hoot!
