This is Miss Em. Or Emmy as Corgan calls her. She is beautiful and fun! Emily has gorgeous blue eyes and an infectious smile. Emily is the only girl cousin in our group, but that doesn't hold her back! She is a little tomboy through and through, just like her mommy. We love Emily!!!!

Eric Christian Hayes

This adorable creature is my nephew Eric. He has a lot of hair! He has the sweetest disposition you've ever seen!!! Two Christmasses ago, Nick and Carter announced that they were going to be big brothers and boy were we excited! We thought for SURE Tammie was going to have a girl! We were so thrilled that she had another gorgeous boy. Eric loves to drool and eat. He's a total snuggle butt and really gets you baby hungry, so beware!

Carter James Hayes

This handsome devil is my favorite Carter in the whole wide world. He has dimples you can get lost in and the sweetest grin you've ever seen. Carter loves to play with his cousins and knows just how to make Caiden grin. I wanted to call Carter "Little Peanut Boy" since his name was Carter James (get it? Jimmy Carter?), but couldn't do that to the poor guy!

Nicholas Ryan Hayes

This is my favorite Nicholas in the whole wide world. I just love my nephew! At my high school graduation, Aaron and Tammie announced they were pregnant by holding up a sign that said, "You're going to be an Aunt!" My mouth dropped open and I was sooo excited!!!! I thought Aaron and Tammie were NEVER going to reproduce.

Nick is such an awesome kid. I can't believe he's already eight years old!!! I still remember holding him in my arms when he was just a sweet baby. Sigh. They grow so fast...

Family Vacation...

This is my Grandma Brown, my mom's mom. Isn't she lovely? That absolutely adorable child on her lap is yours truly... And the nappy haired child would be Jason. He was such a cutie!

THREE MONTHS OLD!!!!

Oh my goodness. I can't believe that yesterday Caiden turned three months old. Time sure has flown by! I'm no longer consumed by sadness when I drive by the hospital.... which is a good thing since I live across the street from the dang building. I think I've finally gotten a hang of being a mommy of two kids. Caiden really is a great baby, such a joy to have in our home. Here are some of his new tricks!

- Belly Laugh! He started laughing this past weekend. We were on our family vacation and I was upstairs changing Caiden's diaper when he started cracking up! I yelled downstairs, "TRAVIS! MOM!!! ANYONE?! Caiden's LAUGHING!!!" My mom and nephews Nick and Carter came bounding up the stairs to see this amazing new talent. Everyone missed out big time. Butts.

- Following objects in motion. He will follow me wherever I go with his dark brown eyes.

- He's even CUTER! Yes, my little boy looks like Yoda. But boy is Yoda cute!

- He gave his first hickie! I was letting him suck on my chin and later that day I saw a little bruise... Kinda gross.

- He's found his hands and loves to attack them with a venegance and suck and chew and drool...

- Sleeping through the night. Sometimes he likes to throw me for a loop and sleep for nine hours straight. I wake up after about six hours in a very bad mood with leaky boobs and have to pump. Read on at your own risk.... The other day I woke up with a very full right breast and pumped SIX ounces out of it alone. And it was still full. Ouch!

I will have to add pictures later. I'm not able to download any at the time... But use this time wisely to prepare for the utter cuteness you are about to encounter...

How I met Travis...

In February of 2000 I was living in Utah, taking a semester off from school for health reasons and working full time as a manager at the local Cinemark. My gorgeous beauty queen roommate Alisha was engaged and her fiance Jimmy played in a band with his brother at the local hangout. Alisha would go every Wednesday to see Jimmy play and decided to drag her lazy butt, boyfriendless roommate along for the ride. As one crappy band cleared the stage to make room for Dave Eaton and the Ambiguous Son (catchy, isn't it?), Jimmy decided to get up on stage to "entertain" the masses. Jimmy took it upon himself to drag his fiancee's lonely, lazy butt, boyfriendless roommate on stage to make a "love connection" with his older brother Dave's friend, Travis.

We get on stage and Jimmy asks us questions like, "What's your favorite color?" I reply, "Red." Travis, "Black." "GREAT! You're perfect for eachother! Hug!!!"

"Do you like going to the movies?" "Uh, yeah." I so eloquently respond. Travis nods. "AMAZING! You have soooo much in common! HUG!"

I ended up hugging this strange man about five times before we were released from our torture. This was quite the icebreaker! Travis and I started talking and he asked if I wanted to get icecream afterwards. I thought, "Why the heck not. I hugged this man five times, I think he owes me icecream." I invited Jimmy and Alisha to join us. Afterall, there's safety in numbers, right?

I remember Jimmy pulling me aside to tell me that Travis was a great guy, and would never hurt me. Considering I had just had my heart ripped out and crapped on, that was a major plus. I decided to give it a shot....

Travis asked me out on our first date that night. Now, seven years and about fifty pounds later, we are still going strong and have two beautiful boys! Thanks Jimmy! You rock!

I LOVE BABY FEET

They are soooo soft, smooth and kissable. I love to rub on Corgan and Caiden's feet like a lucky rabbit's foot. This weekend, I couldn't keep myself from attacking Eric and Emily's feet. Yes, they too are very soft and sweet and kissable. Mmmm... baby toes. Better than chocolate.
